The Imperial Theatre is owned by the Shubert Organization. The Imperial is one of the prize musical houses on Broadway. This theater was built in 1923; seating capacity is 1,443. As one of the Great White Way Broadway Theaters, this theater is located in the famous Broadway Theater District, home to over 40 theaters within a 10 block strip of Manhattan (from 53rd Street to 42nd Street, between 6th and 8th Avenues).
