The Majestic Theatre, a large musical house, was built in 1927 and has been owned by the Shubert Organization since 1930. This theatre features a sloped orchestra, offering enhanced viewing from its 1,645 seats. As one of the Great White Way Broadway Theaters, this theater is located in the famous Broadway Theater District, home to over 40 theaters within a 10 block strip of Manhattan (from 53rd Street to 42nd Street, between 6th and 8th Avenues).
