It was converted to a movie house in 1932, but re-opened, refurbished, as a legitimate musical comedy venue in 1966. Seating capacity is 1,784. As one of the Great White Way Broadway Theaters, this theater is located in the famous Broadway Theater District, home to over 40 theaters within a 10 block strip of Manhattan (from 53rd Street to 42nd Street, between 6th and 8th Avenues).
